1 - Reflection on Previous I Search Experiences (due Mon. April 7)

1. In 6th grade, we did a project on a French region and project on Frank Lloyd Wright. In 7th grade, we did a project on the Rayne Frog Festival. This year, we did a project on labyrinths and research on the bills.
2. Reasearch means finding as much information as possible, so you can improve and make more interesting the project you are working upon.
3. We were given a series of questions about labyrinths. I thought this project was okay, but the problem was the fact that i didnt understand the bigger picture.



2 - Reflection on Webbing Process (due Tuesday, April 8)
1. I think the webbing process helped/did not help me find a topic because: I think it did help me because a lot of information was in one place and it had pictures and everything so i could vislize it. Alsoi, i could see which topics hada more information than others.

1. Topic: Taj Mahal
2. Why you chose it: It has always interested me and there is a lot of information on it on the internet.
3. What you already know about your topic: It is a tomb built by a indian king for his wife, and he planed to be buried there also, but for some reason wasnt.

5 - Reflections on Pre-Notetaking - for homework (due Wednesday, April 9)
1. Describe how the pre-notetaking sheet helped you find both focus for your topic and research questions to investigate. Did you find it easy or difficult to create a fat question from your ideas?- i just wrote down anything i thought of and when i ran out of ideas, i thought of further extending the questions i already had, which helped by giving me even more questions. It was pretty easy to mak ea fat question, but i just needed to reword the existing one.

1. What have I learned today?- a lot about the taj mahal, especially about who made it and why and also i learned a lot about what materials were used to build it.
2. What problems have I had?-none
3. How will I overcome the problem(s)?- none
4. What will I do next?- i will continue to answer my skinny questions and then i will get more questions. Then i will try to make all the skinny questions apply to my fat question.

1. What have I learned today?- I learned a little more about the Taj, especially what it looks like. I also sited a few sources, and edited a few notecards.
2. What problems have I had?- i had a few problems find the authors of the websites, but in the end i figured it out.
3. How will I overcome the problem(s)?- already did
4. What will I do next?- continue to research my notecards and make inprovments on my notecards and grammar.
